The biography
A full-length book — the length of a real memoir, not a pamphlet — written from their conversations and organised the way a life actually runs: childhood, the people who raised them, falling in love, work, the hard years, what they believe now.
It's written in scenes rather than summaries, and their own phrases stay in. If your mother says the mill was "loud enough to rattle your teeth," that's the sentence in the book. The goal is that a grandchild who never met her would hear her talking.
The hardcover
One printed hardcover ships to you, included in the price. Extra copies for siblings and grandchildren can be ordered at cost — most families want several, and we'd rather you have them than ration them.
Every recording
The book is what people expect. The audio is what undoes them. Years later, the thing families reach for is a parent's actual voice telling the story of the day they were born.
Every original recording stays available in the app, playable by anyone in the family circle, and downloadable whenever you want it.
Before it's printed, you read it
Transcription mishears names — every "Tommy" risks becoming "Tommie," every hometown risks a spelling. Before anything is printed, your family reviews the names, dates, and places, and reads the draft. Corrections go back in. Nothing is bound until you say it's right.

Honest limits
We write from what they tell us. We don't invent scenes, embellish memories, or fill gaps with guesses. If a story isn't told, it isn't in the book.
