Does my parent need to be good with technology?
No. They install one app, type six letters once, and after that they talk. There's no account to create, no password to remember, and nothing to configure. Everything is spoken aloud and the type is large.
What if they don't drive?
An armchair works perfectly. The car simply happens to be where people talk most freely — side by side, hands busy, no one watching. Anywhere quiet enough for a phone call is fine.
How long does each session need to be?
As long as they like. Five minutes on the way to the store counts. The app picks up exactly where it left off, so there's no penalty for short sessions or long gaps.
How much talking does a whole book take?
About ten hours, spread over as long as you like — half an hour a week for a few months, or a handful of long drives. The app shows the family how far along they are.
What if they're private, or don't want to answer something?
They say so, and it moves on. No question is required, nothing is pressed, and there's no record of a refusal — just a different question.
Is the story really theirs, or does AI write it?
The AI asks the questions; the story is entirely theirs. Nothing is invented — no scenes, no details, no feelings they didn't express. Your family reads and corrects the draft before anything is printed. We explain this in full on why we made it.
Who can listen to the recordings?
Only people you invite. Family members join with a code and can listen, add photos, and follow along. Nothing is ever public.
What happens to the recordings after the book is written?
They stay yours. You can keep them in the archive, or download everything and keep the files yourself — downloading is always free. Storage after delivery may become a small optional plan. We're also exploring films made from a family's own recordings and photographs; if we ever offer that, it's opt-in and offered only to you.
Can several people in the family take part?
Yes. Different family members can do interviews on different drives, and everyone in the circle can add photos and listen as stories arrive.
What if I buy it and they refuse to use it?
Then you shouldn't pay for it. Within 30 days we refund the full amount, no forms and no argument — see the refund policy.
Can we do this for someone who is very ill?
Yes, and people often do. Sessions can be short and gentle, and the recordings exist from the very first one — so even a single conversation is preserved, whatever else follows.
Is it available now?
